About the Author
After graduating from college in December 2009, Lennay Chapman spiraled
into a depression as she struggled to figure out what she "should" do with

I agree with other reviewers that this book was life-changing, inspirational, and very helpful. Chapman helps readers to figure out what they want in life by offering a number of practical exercises and great insights. I loved that she included personal examples to illustrate her points. This book is an easy read and will ultimately help if you are looking to change your life in any way. It's geared toward 20-somethings/younger people, but I think anyone would be able to get something out of it. I highly recommend it; it's definitely one of the best self-help books I've read!
Lennay Chapman's "Secrets to a Rockin' Life" is a terrific guide to finding your most fulfilling, engaging life path. It is filled with helpful exercises, inventories, and anecdotes that encourage the reader to clearly articulate their values, passions, and achievements in forging a personal future filled with meaning. Chapman strikes an optimistic, non-judgmental tone that reads like a letter to a friend.
This is a great book! Chapman's writing style is warm and witty while imparting great wisdom. She isn't "preachy' but rather is inviting as she shares anecdotal information which bring her points to life. I strongly recommend this book to encourage you to examine what it is that you want, what you value and what you think. Additionally, Chapman suggests activities to do to help you navigate your journey toward your passion, direction and fulfillment. I think the author is wise beyond her years and this book is a must read!
Great book! A book that encourages you to think about what you want, and shows you how to make your goals materialize into tangible things, rather than remain as abstract ideas. Rockin' Life is filled with interesting personal anecdotes and provides a heartfelt and honest guide on how to shift your perspective to something more positive while teaching you how to reflect on the things that matter to you the most and achieve them.
I was filled with the passion the author was writing about...it was so good I am ordering extra copies for my daughters to read!

So happy I read this book! As someone who just made a major life change, Chapman helped me rediscover what I really want and how to get there. Her insights and daily exercises taught me how to focus on what I wanted and not what others wanted for me. Definitely worth the read and I highly recommend this book to everyone.
One of the best books I have ever read, it's truely one of the most encouraging and and inspirational books out there. Not only does the book deliver what it promises but its also very well written with accessible language so anyone is able to understand and follow. Definitely a ten out of ten.
